Premier League: Gallas Sets Key Requirement for Arsenal's Title Win This Season

 

Former Arsenal defender William Gallas has emphasized the importance of Arsenal's captain, Martin Odegaard, being in peak form if the team aims to clinch the Premier League title this season.

Gallas draws parallels between Odegaard and Arsenal's legendary figure Dennis Bergkamp, urging the Norwegian midfielder to make a significant impact in every game for Mikel Arteta's squad.

While acknowledging Odegaard's commendable performance for Arsenal in the previous season, where he scored 15 goals and provided eight assists in 37 Premier League matches, Gallas notes that there is room for improvement this season.

In the current campaign, Odegaard has contributed with four goals and two assists across 11 Premier League games. Gallas expresses his admiration for Odegaard's quality but believes that, as the captain, he should strive to elevate his game to the level of Bergkamp, who consistently made a difference in almost every match.
